2014 Fancy Mystery Box Review

Hello on this beautiful day! I decided to buy myself a Fancy box mystery box to see if I recived better products than my mom, (which I did!) I picked the small box just because this was my first mystery box, so it was about $20 after shipping. Let's see what's inside!

This is how it was shipped to me, I thought I was getting a box but this works too! It was pretty heavy so I was excited to rip it open!

You guys know that I love nail polish! So naturally I was very happy with this, and the fact that it was red and black nail polish made it even better! This polish was specially made for Fancy Box by Rainbow Honey (http://www.rainbowhoney.com/) they have some beautiful nail polish colors and they have a mystery bag that you can subscribe to for just $10 a month! Crap I think I just found another subscription box to subscribe to!!

I love the way this was set up and I didn't even notice at first that it came with cuticle cream so, yay! This is valued at $10.

The colors are Fancy Red and Fancy Black, I can't wait to try them out! I think that these bottles are worth at least $10, I'm just guessing by the price on their webpage.

At first I didn't realize what this was so I say there and stared at it for at least a minute before I realized it was a headphone splitter! Once I figured that out I thought it was a pretty cute idea. I've been meaning to buy one of these and now I don't have to, so of course I'm excited! I found one on Ebay for $8.50.

So I found out why the bag was so heavy, this frame has some weight to it! I have a crazy collection of picture frames that I haven't used yet so I guess I get to add another to the pile. I do really like this frame though and it being neon green really helped too!

I thought the bag was empty until I dumped it upside down and this little bag fell out. It's a thing of Chapstick, which one can never have to many things of Chapstick!

So what did you guys think? I enjoyed this box and wouldn't mind ordering another, I love the mystery of it! Did you order a Fancy mystery box, if so what did you get? Let us know!

March 2014 Stylish Surprise Review (Part 2)

Long story short, I talked my parents into getting my little sister one of these too...so here's my review of hers.

This is the stylish apparel item. It was $10 plus $4 shipping.

Such a cute little shirt! I'm almost wondering if my parents will let her wear it. I'd let me wear it!

I tried to show all the details I could with one photo. There's the Eiffel Tower, the pyramids, the Taj Mahal, and the Statue of Liberty. Cute!

If my sister ends up wearing this, I will try to show you how she styles it (she's 14, but getting fairly fashion savvy). And if I end up with it...well, obviously...

Muppets Most Wanted Review

I know it's a bit late, but I feel like this movie has been getting a bad rep., so it's time for my dissertation on the newest Muppets film.

March 2014 Special Fancy Box Review (Men's and Women's)

Happy April Fools Day everyone! I hope you didn't trust anyone too much today! My mom got her special edition Fancy boxes a couple days ago and I'm finally going to share it with you all! She was so excited about this Fancy box that she ordered both the men's and women's Fancy box, both were around $20 after shipping costs. I'm going to do both the men's and the women's so, let's start!

We decided to open the purple one first because we thought the purple one was the women's box, so here's the first look!

These were huge boxes for the little amount of product inside the box. I really liked the box design but it just seemed wastful.

The first thing is this "Work hard stay humble" wall sticker. My mom wasn't too thrilled by this, she doesn't know what to do with it or where to put it. I told her that I didn't even think I liked it enough to steal it from here! I'm sure we will find some use for it though!

Here's where we find out that this is the men's fancy box! This is a small package of aftershave, which my parents like to travel so I'm sure it will get used!

If you haven't used these, you need to find one and use it. It is a head massager and to me it is the strangest feeling thing you could ever put on your head! My mom liked it and my dad wasn't really sure about it.

The last (and most exciting) gift was this Aqua Pouch Speaker which is a waterproof MP3/smartphone player. This was the best gift in the whole box.

Down at the bottom were these cute little stickers and a business card. That's all for the men's, so let's move on to the women's!

This one is a bright orange box and has the same first look as the men's.

Again, it's a very big box for just a few items.

I forgot to take a picture of the inside of the box for the men's so here's the women's! It wasn't too much different.

As you can imagine, we were so "excited" to see another "Work hard stay humble" wall sticker! Again, meh.

Next is this very durable credit card holder by Laex which will no doubt go in the "vacation" pile! This card holder will cost you $27 which is a bit expensive for my taste!

On the back it says "stay foolish" which I'm not sure why but I really like it!

Next are these adorable notebooks! Hey everyone needs cute notebooks right? I usually find a reason to carry one if it's cute enough! I tried to steal these from my mom but she liked them just as much as me so no go! She did offer me a wall sticker though....

I, unfortunately, can and do live by this statement! I love it and I think it's my favorite out of the whole box!

I like this one too, just not as much as the first one!

Last but not least, nail polish! My favorite! This China Glaze color is a beautiful platinum silver that my mom loved. I will definitley be stealing this on occasion!

And again at the bottom were these cute little stickers and a business card.

So what did you guys think? Did you get this special Fancy box? If you did what did you get? Let us know!!

March 2014 Glossy Box Review

Hi everyone! I'm going to show you what my mom got in her GlossyBox this month! For this month's GlossyBox theme, they partnered with Alex and Ani to give us a taste of their Scent 7 line of products! You have the chance of receiving one of three different samples from them. I love her GlossyBox because one can never have too many beauty products!! Let's start!

Of course you open up the box and the pretty pink GlossyBox is revealed!

Here's the first look of the pink bow and black tissue paper.

Here's the first look of the March box, as soon as you open it you get a strong perfume smell from the Alex and Ani soap bar! So here it is,

This is the Alex and Ani Scent 7 soap bar which after you get over the overwhelming smell from opening the box it smells really nice. The scent is warm spice with a sweet floral undertone, and is valued at $14.00.

Next is a black rose mask by Sisley Paris. This face mask is used to make your skin look youthful by softening and smoothing it. I love the scent of roses so this smells wonderful! I about fell over when I saw the price for a 2 ounce bottle, $158.00! For that price it has to be good!

This is Bamboo plumping strand expand, it adds volume and strength to your hair. The scent of this kinda blended in with the Alex and Ani bar so I don't remember exactly how it smelled. For a 4 ounce bottle it is $22.00.

The next bottle is ĂȘtre Belle liplift peel. I had to read the label a few times to make sure I was right, I've never heard of a liplift peel! It does exactly as it sounds, it removes dead skin from your lips and makes them nice and soft! It runs $18.00 for a 0.5 ounce bottle.

Yay, more nail polish!! This is such a tiny bottle I was a little disappointed but it's a very pretty coral pink. For this small bottle it is $9.50.

And since I always save the jewelry for last here's the special Alex and Ani bracelet! Isn't this beautiful?!?! It so elegant and in my opinion worth getting this months box!!! I couldn't find this exact bracelet on their website but I'm going to guess it was around $38.00.

Did you get this months box? What special Alex and Ani product did you get? Let us know!

March 2014 Healthy Surprise Box Review

I'm becoming familiar with Rue La La faster than I would have imagined. They ran a special recently for a $50 voucher to Healthy Surprise for $25. Now, boxes are $40, but a starter box (which doesn't automatically renew) is $50.

Health Surprise boxes are vegan. They ship very quickly! I ordered my box one afternoon, and it was showing as shipped less than a half an hour later!

First look.
Quite a few treats! Then again, there had better be, for a value of $50 (even if I did pay $25).

These were so good! They weren't quite as good as the chai spice macarons by Emmy's that Felicia got in her Love With Food, but they were still pretty darn great. I saved a couple, but it was hard to stop eating them.

I'm kind of sick of seeing these in boxes already. Also strawberry banana isn't my favorite taste sensation, but we'll see.

Alright, so I'd already noticed, but at this point I'm really annoyed about the lack of information card in this box. This is mexican chocolate of some sort, and apparently vanilla-flavored. A friend of my mom's used to send us Mexican chocolate, and I haven't had any in a long time, so I look forward to this. It feels much softer than what I'm used to.

Saving this for breakfast or camping, but I kind of wish it had nuts rather than little bits of things.

These looked really good, so I decided it was only fair to inspect further. They taste very fresh, and the flavor is just the right level. The last covered almonds I had were a little hard, but these are perfect.

I like Hemp Hearts, but not these so much. The shells are very hard and get stuck in your teeth, and just about the only flavor is the sea salt and a wood-like fiber. Ick.

This was part of my breakfast this morning, and it was great. Much better than I'd expected, great flavor and consistency (not that rubbery pressed fruit you usually get).

I happen to like mangoes, but these were amazing. They taste great and it's only 83 calories per bag!

Not what I expected at all. I was expecting something sweet, like banana chips, but these are salty. They're like a more fibrous potato chip.

Saving these for later because I can't eat everything at once. I wish I'd gotten one of the other flavors. I'm imagining these will be something like papadums, but no idea yet.

My favorite thing in the box! I've been wanting to try kale chips for a while, and they were worth the wait. I can't believe there's no cheese in the cheddar flavoring either. My only complaint is that they were very crushed and mostly crumbs when I got them.

Overall, this box had a lot of good, valuable stuff in it, but it's also a $50 box. I would buy another box, but only for a slightly lesser price.

What do you think? Any good/bad experiences with Healthy Surprise?
