2014 KLUTCHclub Best of Women's Box Review

Yeah, that's right, I got another KLUTCHclub box, you wanna make something of it? Just kidding, but man, I got this box ages ago, I'm really behind. I've been slowing down on boxes for a couple of reasons: 1) I might be moving soon and 2) I've been nonstop playing the South Park: The Stick of Truth game since Felicia (F.M.) loaned it to me. But anyway, I'm finally back from that (the latter at least).

First Look
So every Best of Women's box I've gotten has been pretty different, and pretty worthwhile. I paid around $10 for this box and I feel like I got a great deal.

I can always use some new razors, and although I did have a negative experience with BIC razors when I was twelve, maybe I'm mature enough to not just rip it up my leg now (wouldn't count on it though). This one has moisturizing strips though, so it should be much easier to not injure myself.

These weren't the best potato chips I've ever had, although they weren't terrible. I'd rather stick to Pop chips.

These are a repeat, and a gelatin one at that, so I'm going to try to find them another home.

I've never had sweet soybeans, so this was a little weird. The chocolate on them was pretty good, but the soybean flavor met my expectations in not really fitting with the chocolate.

More lovely Taylors teas. I still haven't tried the last couple I got, but they look expensive, so I'm sure they're good.

I've tried the peach so far, and it was good as pouch foods go, but dang, why does everyone love what is essentially baby food so much?

Another play-dough bar! This will not be eaten by me by any stretch of the imagination.

I learned that I can't do energy drinks, so this too will be passed along to someone.

I'd just purchased some black cherry Zevia the night before this box came. The cola flavor is even better I think! I like this stuff. It's sweetened with Stevia, so it tastes sweet, but with no calories.

And finally, this is my first box of Energems. They're good. Much less painful than the energy drink I had, and they taste delicious. There's a hint of the Mexican chocolate taste in there, but also the mint and just a little bit of the "energy drink" bitterness.

I think this box is a lot of fun! I would probably subscribe if I had the money to.

What do you think? Have you gotten this box? Let us know!

2014 KLUTCHclub Best Of Women's Box Review

KLUTCHclub just recently celebrated their 2nd birthday, and to celebrate, they ran a $2 special on their "best of" boxes. That means with shipping, it came out to $10. When I ordered this box, I hadn't yet gotten my first box, but it seemed like a deal.

Once again, KLUTCHclub comes in a sturdy, handy box.

They gave me my favorite chip flavor! Unfortunately, I prefer both the Pop chips from the February box and Lays baked potato chips to these, but they were good, and worth a try.

This could definitely be useful. Particularly on days when I just can't stop eating. I'm trying to lose weight! (*crams food into mouth*)

Much as I love raspberry, I can't in good faith assume that the gelatin in here is vegetable based, so I will be finding another home for these guys. Not really sure what they're supposed to do anyway.

I guess you can add this to water or a smoothie for a burst of energy. I wonder what will happen if you drink it by itself somehow. I'm guessing the taste isn't supposed to work, but maybe it will turn me into the Incredible Hulk of energy instead of anger or something. Or maybe it's just terrible, but my mom didn't make me drink liquid medicine all my life for nothing! I'll use it eventually (after trying a sip by itself).

Another can of this stuff, which I've for some reason photographed like it's in motion at a party or something. As I said before, this stuff is pretty good, although I don't know that I'd buy it on my own.

This is one of those things I will keep because it seems useful, but I'll probably never end up using it.

Camping? Camping. Now all I need is someone to go with.

Okay...I always hate giving really bad reviews on stuff. I mean, something one person hates could be someone else's favorite thing! But seriously, this is the worst bar I've ever had in my life. It smelled like Play-Dough, and no matter how much I tried not to smell it, it still tasted like Play-Dough with a tiny bit of cinnamon in it. Ick. I would never buy a Fiber Love bar.

More wipes? I think we've already established what pile these will be going into.

These people have been promoting the crap out of these. I'm excited to get to try a mask, especially a certified vegan one. I'll try to have a girly day some time and use it.

Felicia...! Remember how we're totally going to exercise?

Tea! I don't know that I've tried Taylor's, so this is new.

This is a performance booster. If I end up exercising, this won't have to go to its second possible use: biking.

I like this alright, but the one I didn't eat will go to my mom. She appreciates dark chocolate more than I.

Poopy coupons this time. Nothing I'd even consider using.

I really like this boxes though (heck, I ordered another best of box). I might subscribe to KLUTCHclub in the future, once I see how things are going.

What do you think of KLUTCHclub? The boxes all seem so different! What's the best thing you've gotten in one of these boxes?

February 2014 KLUTCHclub Women's Box Review

Just recently got my first KLUTCHclub box. KLUTCHclub provides a box of healthy products each month for $18 ($10 plus $8 shipping). I received my first box for only the $8 shipping price.

It ships in a pretty handy little box, with a slide-out drawer. This box was particularly heavy, and I wasn't sure why yet, but I was excited to find out!

Even though I see people talk about these a lot, this was actually my first time trying Pop Chips. They're pretty good! Barbeque isn't my flavor of choice, but I didn't even mind it this time. For non-health reasons, I generally prefer baked chips to fried ones, but I think these are pretty much as good. They're made like puffed rice cakes, but with potato starch.

I got some of these in a Conscious Box a couple of months back. Even though they're really good, I still haven't used them all, but they're definitely something I like and want to use.

I thought this was the same as the Hemp Hearts, but it's a hemp-based protein powder. Some day, I should just mix all my nutrition powders together and make a gross/healthy drink mix. Or, yanno, use them like normal.

Tried this last night and I did have pretty restful sleep, but I'm gonna say it was probably coincidence. The flavor is nice, but I kind of wish it were carbonated.

More new teas! And these look like great flavors, too. Eh, they all look like good flavors! But these say "focused energy" on them, so maybe they'd be good for one of those days when I'm having issues concentrating.

This is a bottle cleaning tablet that will come in very handy at some point, but I'll surely try to use it as far away as possible, just in case of an emergency.

I got burnt by some baby food like this, but this one looks tasty, so I tried again. It tastes good, but still a little like baby food.

I like pomegranate, so I'm excited to try this shampoo. It smells really nice. My hair isn't super damaged, but hopefully it will still do something.

I'm sitting here rubbing my eye, thinking I don't have allergy symptoms much anymore...But in any case, I still might offer them to my dad, who usually gets allergies way worse than me.

I really want to try this, but I want to save it for a breakfast (or concert? It definitely looks marketed toward concert-goers).

Loca turns out to be a pretty good ginger ale, but it tastes a little like the artificial sweeteners I know it doesn't contain. Really not bad though.

Coupons! I'll almost certainly use the Pop Chips one.

KLUTCHclub is a pretty cool box! It definitely seems worth the price. It contained quite a few items I've never heard of, and a nice mix of samples and full-size products. The shipping price is definitely accurate, with a couple of drinks in the box! I've unsubscribed for now, but I would totally do this box again in the future.

Have you tried KLUTCHclub? What do you think? Let us know!
