April 2014 BarkBox Review

It's been a while guys! How is everyone? I'm gonna show you what my mom got in her April BarkBox!

First things first, here's the box it's shipped in. This box was a little banged up but luckily nothing was damaged!

Here is the first look. The tissue paper is still my favorite part! Of course this month's box theme is Spring!

Spring has Sprung!

So the first thing I grab, of course, has to be this weird looking guy! I mean look at him, he's so creepy it's cute! These are Water Loopies, by Loopies Toys. These toys are thoughtfully made with double stitching and extra squeakers so they last longer. These are the Alien Spectors and  they are made for playing in the water. I think this retails for $14.95.

Both of the dogs enjoyed this! They played tug-o-war for while!

The dogs were wanting some treats so next is Bocce's Bakery Beef Bourguignon! These treats have no preservatives, they are wheat free and sources in the USA. These were made with fresh carrots, roasted hormone free beef, and parsley, they pride themselves by using human grade ingredients which is good for dogs with sensitive stomachs and allergies! This bag runs for $8.50.

They both LOVED the treats! Look how happy they are!!

The next bag of treats are Dogs Love Kale, these are all natural, healthy and gluten free! Of course kale is the main ingredient.

This is a bully stick by Barkworthies. I'm not sure what to say about this, there was only one so this went back into the box for later! It is valued at about $3.

Last but not least is Mr. Barksmith's Cool Treats Smoothies for Dogs in carrot cake. All you do is freeze and eat these! They are made with human-grade food and natural ingredients. Again, there was only one of these so back into the box it went!

So what did you guys think about this month's BarkBox? Let us know!

April 2014 Q Box Mystery Box Review

I was so excited about the Q Box mystery box!!! With shipping this box was about $30. Q box is a Japanese/Korean lifestyle box, I've been watching the reviews for this box for awhile thinking and thinking if $40 a month is worth it to subscribe and I'm still not sure.

Here's the shipping box.

Here's the first look!

First things first, a snack! I like Welch's fruit snacks, I mean who doesn't like fruit snacks, but I didn't expect it to be in this box.

Here's the thank you card. We couldn't figure out what the two small chains were, but we found out late that they are rings! Well my fingers are too fat for these so they will go back in the bag!

These are doodle's by Emi Jay, which are hair ties. I have a couple of packages of these type of hair ties and my hair is too thick to put it all up in these small ties, but they are so pretty!

I had a real hard time getting a good picture of this tape! It's pretty cute but I'm not sure what I'd use it for, it has a British theme to it.

This is pomegranate raspberry green tea one of my favorites! Again I didn't expect tea in the box but I'm happy with it, and if I'm lucky mom will share with me!

Theses are beautiful flower note cards. Again I'm not sure exactly what these will get used for but they are cute!!

I was excited to find out what these are! Look how cute they are!! They are actually molds to make adorable bento boxes!! You put sticky rice in the molds so that it takes the shape and then you decorate it and make it adorable!!

Of course all the instructions are in Japanese!!

Last is a Laundry net for your bras, my mom and I are thinking that this is to fold your bras in and wash them so that they don't tangle up or get damaged. It's so cute!! It did take us awhile to figure out what this was sadly, my mom said she's going to use it for packing as well as washing!

Did you guys get a mystery Q Box? What did you get?? I'm still trying to decide if I want to subscribe to this box, they have such beautiful products. I'm sure one day I'll get one!!!

April 2014 Ipsy Glam Bag Review "Beauty Rocks!"

It's Ipsy time again!! I was so sad when I came home today and didn't see a pink bag on my porch but the mailman surprised me later by bringing it by! Yay!!

Of course it comes in the bright pink shipping bag! I've been waiting for my new Ipsy bag for way too long it seems, as soon as they said the theme for this month was "Beauty Rocks" I counted down the days until it would show up at my door!

This is by far my favorite makeup bag! It was love at first sight, and I couldn't wait to open it.

The first thing I pulled out was this tinted lip balm by Cailyn. This is such an interesting bottle! The lip brush is the top of the bottle so there are no worries about losing the brush! I got the color "apple pink," and this bottle runs for $19.

You all know I love primer, and I guess Ipsy knows it too! This primer has the added bonus of acne treatment, I switched my face wash which was a bad idea because it broke me out more, so hopefully this primer will help me out! I really like this primer because it is clear and not a cream color like every other primer I own, and it's super soft! I found the .5 ounce bottle for $16.

Yay! Two favorite things in one bag?? I love Ipsy more and more with every bag I get!

This is Pop! Goes the Shadow by Elizabeth Mott in Champagne. It's in a cute little container that makes it easy to carry around for touch ups if needed. This isn't really my color but I like using colors like this for the corners of my eyes so I'm sure it will get used!

I'm not too excited about this product because I don't usually do anything with my hair (which it wouldn't hurt me to change that!) This is Big Sexy Hair root pump, you apply it to damp hair to add volume to it and protects hair from going flat! For a regular sized 10 ounce bottle it is around $18 a bottle.

Last but not least is 24/7 Glide-on Eye Pencil by Urban Decay.

Another thing I love is my eyeliner, I have about every color you can imagine. Luckily enough I'm almost out of my favorite liner, which is Scandaleyes by Rimmel, so I'll be happy to use this in the morning! I've always wanted some Urban Decay products and I'm happy that this starts my collection! The 24/7 eye pencil is $20.

I love my Ipsy bag this month!!! It is my favorite that I have received and I hope that it gets better as time goes on!

What did you guys get in your Ipsy Glam bag? I hope it was as good as mine!

April 2014 Phone Case of the Month Review

Here is my Phone Case of the Month for this month. I really like the quote that goes with this case, "I am in charge of how I feel and today I am choosing happiness." Everytime I look at my case I smile and think about how as bad as a day may seem I have many reasons to be happy! What do you guys think of this month's case? If you receive Phone Case of the Month, what case did you get? Let us know!

                                                                                                                                         -F.M.

March 2014 BarkBox Review

Aren't they cute??? This is Leia and King, they are the spoiled rotten babies of my mom and dads choosing! Miss King is 11 and Leia is still a baby at 5 months old! King is used to what comes in this little brown box, but it's Leia's first BarkBox! BarkBox is a monthly subscription box that runs $39 a month with free shipping!

Here's the first look when you open up the box, (at least when you finally get it opened after pushing an excited puppy out of the way!) It comes wrapped in the most adorable dog themed paper that I wouldn't have the heart to throw away, it would make great scrapbooking paper! Let's continue!

When you open it up you see that it is packed full of all kinds of goodies picked just for your dogs! When you sign up for the BarkBox they ask you what size your dog is so they can send you the appropriate toys and treats your dogs will love! The card explains that this months theme is breakfast!

The first toy is a squeaky newspaper. I threw this for Leia but, she ran after it and came back to see what else I had for her! She isn't very good at fetching the morning paper!

The next thing is waffle flavored treats by Superior Farms Pet Provisions. I searched and searched on their website for a price for these but I couldn't find one. All of Superior Farms products are made in the USA, all natural, preservative free, and the list goes on!

King and Leia definitely couldn't wait to try these treats! Leia couldn't sit down long enough for me to take a decent picture of her begging. King sat like a good dog but, Leia just ran around!

Next is another toy, it's a eco-friendly, completely recyclable Jive ball by West Paw. West Paw strives to make sure that their products are good for the planet, even the packaging is made from 100% recyclable materials! This durable ball runs $15.00 apiece.

Leia LOVES to play with balls! She has claimed all of the cats small bouncy balls and will run around the house pushing it with her paws. She was so excited for a new ball, I couldn't get a good picture of her because she was jumping on me so I would throw the ball for her!

The next treat is an Etta Says! Crunchy Rabbit Chew. I guess I'm not supposed to know how much these run for either because I couldn't find a price on their website! This will be saved for dinner so the dogs are occupied!

The last box of treats are from Wagatha's Organic Dog Biscuits! They are a business based in Vermont, they use human grade certified organic ingredients like apples, whole barley flour, bananas and more! It's nice to know what you're feeding your pets! I finally found a price for something, for a 16 ounce box of Wagatha's Breakfast Biscuits it will cost you $10.95.

This was their last treat, so after all the other treats they had and the toys they ran after they were ready for more! Leia finally sat still long enough for me to get a picture of her, but even King was on her feet begging for a treat!

Look at this face! I'm sure she can't wait for next BarkBox!

Don't leave us hanging, let us know what you thought of this months BarkBox and don't forget to tell Leia how cute she is!

                                                                                                                                                 -F.M.
